In many applications embedded systems are a real alternative to PC-based imaging solutions. Limited  and well-defined software together with access control lead to a closed system with a high reliability. Therefore we have different systems in our program. As an operating system we use embedded Linux (µCLinux).
Cleopatra is a single-board computer designed for image processing applications. CANCam extends this technology to a very compact intelligent camera with manifold fields of application.
